The Eastside newsroom, which is comprised of the Bellevue Reporter, Eastside Scene, Issaquah/Sammamish and Mercer Island Reporter newspapers, is looking for two passionate, dedicated journalism interns to join the Eastside team. The positions are unpaid and for college credit only and will be an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the newsroom while honing their investigative, feature, news, arts and sports writing skills.
Duration: Quarterly or six months (longer internships preferred)
Responsibilities: Interns will be expected to interview sources, write stories, take photos, use social media and engage readers during this quarterly or six-month long internship.
