The Cheney Free Press is seeking a full-time staff reporter to cover news, sports and education in our circulation area of southwest Spokane County, population of roughly 30,000-plus. The position is full-time, 40-plus hours. Starting pay is $15/hour, with health care benefits and paid time off.

This is a community journalism job well-suited for a photojournalist who has worked in equivalent or slightly smaller markets.
